The WLS Interceptor and patented Reconciler systems are advanced label handling systems designed to automatically reject labels that fail inspection before they are applied to a container. This innovative technology eliminates the risk of applying a known rejected label to a product, ensuring high accuracy and quality. These systems are fully compatible with WLS' RL, VR, and HR Series labelers.

The Interceptor is specifically designed for WLS labelers without a vacuum drum for label application. Its peel plate assembly ensures rejected labels remain on the liner, where their presence is verified. Rejected labels can then be reconciled by inspecting the rewound liner at the end of a shift, providing a complete record of label rejects.

The Reconciler is tailored for WLS labelers with a vacuum drum for label application. It efficiently removes rejected labels from the drum before application and places them back-to-back on a separate liner. This process verifies the absence of rejected labels on the drum, enabling total reconciliation by reviewing the rewound liner at the shift’s end.

The Reconciler also offers a Label Assurance option. When a label is rejected, the labeler slows down, preventing an unlabeled container from entering the line. This ensures every container is labeled with an accepted label, eliminating the risk of passing unlabeled products and boosting overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
