HR Wrap Around Labeling Medical Device Autoinjectors at 120ppm


The HR is ideal for auto-injector devices applications. With its high speed and precise labeling application of a film or paper pressure sensitive label on to round containers in a continuous fashion, the WLS HR in-line labeler combines a modular platform with a breakthrough horizontal roller track design that references the container sidewall for consistent and accurate label placement via a vacuum drum applicator. The HR fully synchronized electronic drive train also allows for ease of operation and fast changeovers via HMI-based recipe control. This construction ensures years of trouble free operation at the highest efficiency levels and minimal maintenance requirements. The HR comes with a zero-access guarding package, which meets the most stringent safety standards and can be configured with a variety of options, such as a single or redundant label head(s), label coding and inspection (including serialized codes), RFID tags integration, Interceptor feature, 21CFR Part 11 and CE compliance. The WLS Interceptor removes, counts and rewinds rejected labels prior to their application on to a container.

On this line video, auto-injector devices are labeled at 120ppm. This particular machine includes robotics product loading, product inspection, a LA-2000 label head with dual unwind, laser coding and inspection camera, an Interceptor, a vacuum drum to control the labels and devices during label application followed by a robotics unloading station with unlabeled devices rejection.
